Villa of Hope is proud to be partnering with local Starbucks locations and The Summit Federal Credit Union to bring holiday cheer to our program recipients. This year will be the 15th year participating in this program, ensuring our Villa families have the best holiday experience.
Our Holiday Wishes program gives our community the opportunity to fulfill the wishes of over 500 Rochester-area children and youth who either live on our campus, or with their families, while healing from trauma and rebuilding their lives.
In a recent interview on Good Day Rochester, Dawn Kellogg, supporter of the Villa and Community Engagement Specialist from The Summit Federal Credit Union, spoke about the program and the Summit’s partnership with the Villa. The Summit Rochester branches have been participating in our program for over 10 years now. Dawn expressed, “The Summit Federal Credit Union philosophy is people helping people. That is something that we do everyday, whether it is helping someone achieve their financial goals or partnering with organizations, such as Villa of Hope.”
Students from St. Louis School donate gifts to support our Holiday Wishes program!
“It’s not just about this time of year”, says Dawn, “I have had the chance to serve on a committee at Villa of Hope and our President & CEO, Laurie Baker, was on the board at the Villa.” The Summit supports 150 organizations throughout our region every year. The Summit has branch locations in the Syracuse and Buffalo area and they support local organizations from those locations as well.
“I think Villa of Hope does such incredible work in the community and we have a long relationship with Villa of Hope”, said Dawn, “It comes from the heart.”
